Darcy’s expertise extends beyond therapy sessions. She has served as an Instructor at St. Thomas University, teaching essential courses like “Diversity in Social Work” in the Bachelor of Social Work program, as well as contributing to the Mi’kmaq and Maliseet Bachelor of Social Work Program with her course on “Social Work and Addictions.”
Sharing knowledge with fellow professionals is Darcy’s calling. She’s dedicated countless hours to developing and delivering CBT education to hundreds of frontline healthcare staff, embodying her passion for empowering others in their practice.

Brief CBT
7 Hours
Increase your competency in Brief Cognitive Behavior Therapy, a time-limited evidence-based intervention. In Brief CBT the concentration is on specific treatments for a limited number of the client’s difficulties. CBT combines cognitive and behavioral therapies and has strong empirical support for treating mood and anxiety disorders. Brief CBT is a flexible, adaptive and collaborative treatment process.

CBT for Anxiety Disorders
16 Hours
Increase your competency in CBT with this 16-hour interactive training course; paced over 4 weeks for enhanced learning integration. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is considered the gold-standard treatment for anxiety disorders. Clients can suffer greatly with anxiety symptoms, finding their worlds getting smaller and their functioning significantly reduced. Learn evidence-based cognitive and behavioral interventions you can use with clients in a targeted way. Participants will receive a thorough overview of CBT for common anxiety disorders including: Specific Phobias, Social Phobia, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
